Canada Day Colors

"Canada Day (FrenchFête du Canada) is the national day of Canada, a federal statutory holiday celebrating the anniversary of the July 1, 1867, enactment of the British North America Act, 1867 (today called the Constitution Act, 1867, in Canada), which united three colonies into a single country called Canada within the British Empire. Originally called Dominion Day (FrenchLe Jour de la Confédération), the name was changed in 1982, the year the Canada Act was passed. Canada Day observances take place throughout Canada as well as internationally."
That is the definition of Canada Day from Wikipedia. Canada is now 145 years old. A fairly new country compared to other countries. The population of Canada is increasing everyday, weather by new immigrants coming or new babies being born everyday. That means new houses being built more wildlife and land being taken, and more animals losing their natural habitat because of us.
This coming Canada Day, people all across Canada will be celebrating outdoors, and with the beautiful weather that we've been having, more and more people will be using plastic water bottles, not to mention the flags and the party hats and all the other waste that we will be creating, where do you think all this garbage is going to go to? That's right, to the newly dug holes in the waist land, pushing another family of squirrels to move away from their home which now probably have been turned into a new table or chair.
So this Canada Day, lets be green, and think of all the harm we have caused every single animal and plant out there.
Have a great Canada Day and enjoy the weather out there too.
